The Sacramento Internship Program at the University of California, Irvine is a program that gives outstanding UCI students an opportunity to intern in the California state capital.

Based upon the huge success of the UCDC Summer Internship Program, the Sacramento Internship Program (SIP) was a natural step in the direction of developing an experiential learning opportunity in the state capital.

Sacramento - Capitol

Sacramento is the center for California's growth not only politically, but also scientifically and economically. This program is designed to immerse students into the workings of state government while showing the important role that policy makers play in decisions that will effect all of California.

California has the fifth largest economy in the world, as well as being the largest and most diverse state. Interns will see why being a member of the California State Legislature is one of the most highly regarded elected officials in the nation.
