Housing

The Sacramento Program will assist you in identifying housing options while staying in Sacramento for the summer. However, we are not responsible for making housing arrangements for you.  Last Summer, interns lived in an apartment community with students from both UCI and UCLA. Those who lived in the area commuted from home. Housing is located near the Capitol building and transportation is both affordable and convenient.

The cost of living is lower in Sacramento than Orange County so you can expect to pay a lower rent and find more affordable options. The downtown area of Sacramento has many restaurants, shopping areas and other social opportunities that will keep you entertained.

The two major universities in the Sacramento area are Sacramento State and UC Davis both helping to promote a college town atmosphere.
